We are a Mutual Company: We are operated for the benefit of our contractholders and policyholders. We have no stockholders, and there’s no Mutual of America share price to worry about. Our mission and goals are aligned with yours.
Mutual of America stands behind our investment menu with a robust and inclusive promise: We will indemnify you and your plan against investment-related ERISA fiduciary claims, and we will do this at no additional cost to you or your plan participants. As you can see from the market comparison chart, our indemnification compares favorably to any offer to be a co-fiduciary that may come from those selling so-called “3(21)” or “3(38)” fiduciary services and, we believe, is more inclusive than any other competitor’s indemnification or warranty.
